Core Subscription
Everyday coffees with depth and balance
The Core Subscription is designed for regular brewing and steady exploration. These coffees are selected to be expressive without being overwhelming, offering clarity, balance, and versatility across brew methods.
Our focus in Core is on coffees that clearly reflect their processing and roast approach. You’ll encounter washed, honey, and natural coffees that show structure and nuance, but remain approachable enough to enjoy day after day.
Core coffees are priced to be accessible while still allowing us to work with high-quality producers and respected roasters.
Best for you if you:
- Brew coffee most days
- Value balance and consistency
- Want to learn through repeat brewing
- Use multiple brew methods
Esoteric Subscription
Limited, rare, and highly expressive coffees
The Esoteric Subscription is built for deeper exploration. These coffees are selected because they’re distinctive—whether due to variety, processing method, production size, or overall cup profile.
Esoteric coffees often come with higher price points at the sourcing level. This subscription gives us the flexibility to include rarer lots, experimental fermentations, and small-production coffees that wouldn’t fit within the Core framework.
These coffees are not intended to be everyday staples. They are meant to be experienced with attention and curiosity.
Best for you if you:
- Already drink specialty coffee regularly
- Seek out rare or limited coffees
- Enjoy highly expressive or unconventional profiles
- Are comfortable paying a bit more for unique lots
Espresso Subscription
Selected for espresso preparation
The Espresso Subscription is for customers who primarily brew espresso. Coffees in this subscription are chosen specifically for how they perform when brewed under pressure.
Espresso coffees tend to be roasted slightly darker than most of the coffees we offer in Core or Esoteric. This helps with extraction, body, and balance, particularly across a range of home espresso setups.
You may also see blends in the Espresso Subscription. Blending allows us to prioritize consistency and structure, especially when dialing in espresso over time. Some shipments may still be single-origin coffees, but the guiding principle is performance rather than rarity.
These coffees can sometimes be brewed using other methods, but they are selected first and foremost with espresso in mind.
Best for you if you:
- Brew espresso at home
- Prefer coffees that extract predictably
- Are comfortable with slightly darker roasts
- Don’t mind blends alongside single-origin offerings
