Our 8th and final Mejorado selection from the 2024 harvest season! We began disussing a partnership with Pillcocaja at the end of last Fall when they were in the thick of finishing up the harvest season. As we have been on a never-ending search for Mejorado, naturally we were inclined to bring on two standard processing expressions of it; fully washed and traditional natural.

We already released the washed offering a month ago, and have loved its clarified representation of this variety we have come to favor so much. The natural is delightfully such a different cup profile! This coffee is perfect for the person who loves hugely fruited cup profiles and doesn't favor funkiness, as this coffee presents quite cleanly for a natural. Dark stone fruits and red grape are the central fruit attributes, along with a sweet tart like candy finish. It's also notably different than the Chito natural Mejorado we featured a few months ago, which is also fun!
