The M01 comes from Millab, Timemore's premium design line, and it's their most ambitious manual grinder so far. It's built for people who want the tactile ritual of hand grinding without giving up cup quality to get it.

At its core is Timemore's patented 44mm "pineapple" burr. The fluted, textured cutting surface adds an extra pre-grinding stage, which gives it a grinding path comparable to a 64mm flat burr. In the cup, that means very low fines and a tight particle distribution: the clarity and separation you'd expect from a flat burr, with the body and sweetness of a conical. For espresso, you can push extraction further without it turning bitter. For pour-over, you get a clean, expressive cup.

Dialing in is precise and repeatable. The lens-inspired adjustment ring has 100 firm micro-clicks at 12.5 microns each, so you can move from espresso to pour-over to French press and find your way back without guessing.

The body is solid metal, with more than 50 aluminum and stainless steel components. It weighs about 1.1 kg, so it sits planted in your hand and doesn't wander while you grind. The snap-to-lock catch cup has no threads to cross, and the wooden handle adds warmth and a comfortable grip. The M01 won a Good Design Award, and it looks the part on any counter.
